Odogbolu King, Oba Onagoruwa celebrates 19th anniversary in grand style (photos)

The entire town of Odogbolu in Ogun State was in jubilation when its Paramount Ruler, Alaaye of Odogbolu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedeji Atanda Olusegun Onagoruwa, celebrated his first decade of coronation on the 16th June, 2018, in a big way.

Celebrities, industrialists, politicians, and dignitaries came out en-masse to rejoice and celebrate with Elesi 1, Alaye of Odogbolu. The one-day event was held at The Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Odogbolu, while the reception took place at Odogbolu town hall.

The service started by 10am with processional hymns 568 and call to worship, while Psalm 150 was recited. Old Testament lesson was taken from Deut. 28vs1-14 with hymn 291, while New Testament lesson was taken from Phil 4:4-8 also with hymn 354 and hym 466 (Covenant of Faith).

The sermon was delivered by the Rt. Rev. J.O. Gboyega Olu, the Bishop, Diocese of Remo Central, Methodist Church Nigeria. It was followed by thanksgiving before the programme was brought to a close.

Kings from different towns and villages came en-masse to support and celebrate Alaye of Odogbolu, Oba Adedeji Onagoruwa. Among the prominent kings who were there are: Oba Y.O. Adekoya, OON (Dagburewe of Idowa), Oba A.A. Adenugba (Ebumawe of Ago Iwoye), Oba Adewale Osiberu (Elepe of Epe, Sagamu), Oba Adeleke Idowu-Basibo (Alaperu of Iperu), Oba Omosanya Akinsanya (ebi of Idena), Oba Ade Adebanjo (Oloru of Oru), Oba Ade Fakoya (Magunsen of Itamarun), Oba Adebisi Okubanjo (Obiri of Aiyepe) and many others.
